Akzo Nobel has introduced Structure Cel, a line of polymers that are water-soluble derivatives of cellulose, a renewable raw material. The derivatives include ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (EHEC), methyl ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (MEHEC) and hydrophobically-modified ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (HMEHEC).
